Quiero volver a Curaçao

We were lucky enough to spend our Spring Break in Curacao with Hayley's family (Minus Zack - for full details see www.klfrei.blogspot.com :D). No one ever has a clue where Curacao is, so I'll give you a quick run down! Curacao is part of the ABC Islands in the southern Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao). It is located right above Venezuela. It is HOT HOT HOT!!! Muggy and humid and absolutely awesome!! We had so much fun! We aren't scuba certified, but we got to Scuba-ing a few times (don't tell!) and snorkeled every other day! Our hotel - which was absolutely amazing - had an aquarium that was a mini Seaworld and we got to pet Sharks and Flamingos, watch lemon sharks swim and huge turtles play with each other and watch a dolphin show. Not to mention while we scuba'd we saw a barracuda, eels, lobsters, scorpion fish and all sorts of crazy tropical fish!! We had so much fun it was unreal!! I would go back right now if I could! Some things that are funny about Curacao is that everyone speaks 4 languages! Everyone! They all speak Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamento (the native language mix of Portuguese, Spanish, and Dutch). The service there SUCKS! If you go out to eat, it's like an all night affair. Our quickest restaurant trip was like 2 hours. They only serve Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Sprite and a drink called Kolita - a carbonated cough syrup drink (can you tell I'm a little turned off by it?). But, I'll trade the crappy service and weird tasting soda for the awesome week we had :D It was so much fun! I can't wait to go again :D
beautiful Porto Mari :D
Hayley & Ammon snorkeling! Not this best picture!
Hayley & Haden petting the nurse shark!

We rented a HUGE 12 person van to cart us all around :D

Follow Our Missionaries!

My very cute little brother, Chase, asked me if I would set up a blog for him and his friends that are going on missions! It's been up and running for a few months and I'm quite proud of it!! So, if you have a missionary and would like them to be on the blog - let me know! And follow us so we can get everyone involved :) It's so awesome to get their emails and hear what's going on with them in the places they are serving! Help me spread the word :D Thanks friends!!
